The Beauty Innovator Awards is Refinery29’s annual roundup of the years best products. This years awards really dug into what women consider beautiful, celebrating brands who made inclusivity a priority, the people that showed us new ways to express beauty, and the no-BS products that actually worked.

My goal for this years awards was to take all of of the categories and organize it in a way that made sense and was easily digestible. I broke up the information into five basic categories, Makeup, Hair, Skin, Body, and Under $20. The team wanted this years site to be bold and beautiful which was executed with stunning photography, a bright color system, and in-your-face typography. Also considered, was the winners seal applied to all category winners, Refinery29’s stamp of approval.
